TV-Series
Description
Kenshiro Daimon is a 36-year-old police officer and the older identical twin brother of Koshiro Daimon. Both brothers intensely dislike taxi drivers, especially Hiroshi Odokawa, due to their parents' deaths in a taxi hit-and-run during their childhood, a trauma fueling their deep distrust of the profession.

Kenshiro maintains a firm, cool exterior, contrasting with his younger brother's talkative and naive nature. He exhibits a protective stance towards Koshiro, often exploiting his brother's trust. As an officer, Kenshiro operates cynically and corruptly, accepting bribes and abusing his authority. His corruption includes collaborating with the yakuza-affiliated gangster Dobu, driven by a hidden motive.

This alliance with Dobu originates with Kuroda, Dobu's yakuza boss. Kuroda secretly funded a foundation supporting children orphaned by traffic accidents, including the Daimon brothers. Feeling indebted to Kuroda, Kenshiro repays this obligation by aiding Dobu in criminal activities, deliberately keeping this arrangement hidden from Koshiro, highlighting Kenshiro's pragmatic and morally flexible approach.

During the investigation into high school girl Yuki Mitsuya's disappearance and related events, Kenshiro actively obstructs justice to protect Dobu. He uses his police position to misdirect inquiries and shield Dobu, actions that directly conflict with Koshiro's attempts at a legitimate investigation and exploit Koshiro's trust to further Kenshiro's hidden agenda.

After Koshiro shoots Dobu in a warehouse confrontation, Kenshiro becomes absent from work. This strategic absence coincides with mandatory firearm inspections, ensuring the shooting remains undiscovered and Koshiro avoids potential repercussions, underscoring Kenshiro's role in perpetuating the corruption linked to their past.

Due to Hiroshi Odokawa's visual agnosia, stemming from childhood trauma, Kenshiro is perceived as an anthropomorphic animal. Though Odokawa's condition resolves by the series' end, Kenshiro's human form is never explicitly shown, though it is implied he resembles his twin brother Koshiro.
