Description
Raichi Kuronashi is one of the main characters of Baku Tech! Bakugan. He is a Darkus brawler and the owner and partner of the Bakugan Destroy Munikis. In the anime, he debuts in the first episode when Harubaru Hinode challenges him to a brawl inside the Bakugan Dojo. Raichi loses that brawl after Destroy Munikis is critically knocked out by Harubaru's Flare Dragaon, and he immediately vows to have a rematch. In the following episode, he sets Harubaru a test by having him try to knock his Mica Laurel off a Gate Card. In the manga, Raichi is described as Harubaru's childhood friend who grows into his rival, and the two later work together to stop the BakuThieves from stealing Bakugan.
In appearance, Raichi is a blonde teenager with red eyes. His usual outfit consists of a beanie hat, a black hoodie, shorts, and sneakers, all accented with pink and blue. After a two-year timeskip in the story, he has grown taller and wears a new outfit beginning with a white t-shirt and a beanie with a white band. For his final battle with Harubaru, he wears a white sweatshirt with white stripes over a purple-and-white shirt, purple pants, purple fingerless gloves, and a purple beanie with orange stripes, an outfit that echoes the style worn by another character named Nivil.
Personality-wise, Raichi is a composed and analytical brawler who contrasts with the more reckless Harubaru.
