Description
Gamma serves as one of the main antagonists in the Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone storyline, initially appearing as the captain of Protocol Omega 3.0. This team is the third iteration of El Dorado's Protocol Omega project, sent through time to intercept the main characters. Gamma is a forward, wearing the number 10 jersey, and is recognized as a highly skilled and confident player.

In terms of appearance, Gamma has pale skin, blue eyes, and distinctive cream-colored spiky hair. His design is meant to convey a sense of sharpness and refined arrogance, befitting his role as a captain. His personality is defined by a powerful sense of narcissism and arrogance. He is supremely confident in his own abilities and looks down on others, often clashing with his counterpart Beta, the captain of Protocol Omega 2.0, whom he openly dislikes. Their rivalry frequently leads to arguments that require the intervention of Alpha, the original Protocol Omega captain, to de-escalate. This pride also makes him resistant to authority figures he does not respect, most notably Shindou Takuto. When Gamma is selected to play for the unified El Dorado Team 02, he deeply resents Shindou being named captain and initially refuses to follow his orders on the field, insisting on playing by his own rules.

Gamma's role in the story evolves significantly. He is first introduced as a formidable adversary for Raimon, leading his team with a cruel smile and a belief in his own superiority. His mission takes a dramatic turn when he encounters the escapee Zanark Avalonic, an S-rank criminal from MUGEN prison. Despite Gamma and his team's attempts to stop Zanark, they are easily overpowered and subjected to a forced Mixi Max by Zanark's energy. Under this influence, Gamma becomes completely and utterly devoted to Zanark, referring to him as Zanark-sama and obeying his commands without question. His personality shifts from arrogant independence to fanatical loyalty, and his appearance changes as well, with his skin becoming tanned, his eyes turning scarlet red, and his hair changing to a pale blue.

Later, during the Ragnarok Tournament arc, Gamma is freed from Zanark's control and becomes a key player for El Dorado Team 02. This period marks a significant development for his character. While he maintains his arrogant demeanor, constantly bickering with Beta and grumbling about Shindou's captaincy, he is forced to confront his limitations. During a critical match against the team Giru, his individualistic style of play, refusing to pass or cooperate, leads directly to the opponents scoring goals. It is only when Shindou develops and executes a new tactic, Kami no Takuto FI, designed to utilize the combined statistics and abilities of Gamma, Alpha, and Beta, that Gamma begins to change. For the first time, he agrees to cooperate, joining Alpha and Beta in the combination hissatsu tactic Shoot Command 24. This moment is a turning point, as Gamma, along with Alpha and Beta, sincerely thanks Shindou for his leadership, acknowledging that his strategy allowed them to succeed. After the match, he even boasts that they would have won more easily if he had been the captain, but Shindou's agreement is met with a smile, indicating a newfound, if grudging, respect between them.

Key relationships heavily define Gamma's journey. His antagonistic relationship with Beta provides much of the comic relief and tension within Protocol Omega, as their constant arguing highlights their similar yet clashing egos. Alpha acts as a calm and mediating senior figure to both. The relationship with Zanark is the most transformative, as Gamma goes from enemy to mind-controlled servant. His development with Shindou is the most crucial, showcasing his arc from a rebellious subordinate to a cooperative team member who learns the value of a collective strategy over individual glory.

Notable abilities showcase his standing as a top-tier player. In the anime, he demonstrates his power by easily dribbling past skilled opponents like Tsurugi and Shindou and scoring with his keshin (a powerful summoned spirit) named Jinrou Lycaon. In the video games, Gamma possesses several powerful hissatsu techniques. His shooting technique is Gamma Strike, also known as Shoot Command 13, which involves splitting the ball into its atomic components and firing a concentrated beam of energy at the goal. He can also use the dribble technique All Delete, which erases the ground from under an opponent's feet, causing them to fall and lose the ball. Furthermore, his game statistics reflect his role as an offensive powerhouse, with high kick and technique stats, and he is also noted by the El Dorado coach Sakamaki Togurou to have a great control of the ball.
