Description
The Supreme Deity, creator and ruler of the Goddess Clan, was formed by Chaos alongside the Demon King and the Sacred Tree. Charged by Chaos to oppose the Demon King, she established the Celestial Realm and shaped the Goddess Clan in her image. Witnessing the creation of humans, however, ignited deep jealousy and fear toward Chaos, perceived as a threat to her divine status. This drove her to forge a temporary truce with the Demon King to seal Chaos away, trapping it dormant within a physical prison. Maintaining the balance between light and darkness required by this act became the foundation for perpetuating the Holy War as an eternal conflict.

She manifests physically as a colossal, slender woman with ten white wings, dwarfing giants. Intense light radiates from her face, rendering it nearly indiscernible, though glimpses reveal blue lips, long white hair, and the Goddess Clan's triskelion-pupiled eyes. She wears a white dress marked with a cross symbol, silver gauntlets, and a halo.

Her personality is defined by ruthless pragmatism and a godly superiority complex. She views all beings—including her own clan and her daughter Elizabeth—as expendable tools or "creations" in her eternal struggle against the Demon King. While she enforces clan laws rigidly, she displays occasional tolerance, such as permitting Elizabeth's initial relationship with Meliodas while he remained an ally. Ultimately, she prioritizes the Holy War above all else, seeing it as essential to cosmic balance. This conviction compels her to collaborate with the Demon King when necessary, such as cursing Meliodas with immortality and Elizabeth with perpetual reincarnation upon their deaths, ensuring their eternal suffering.

Historically, she granted four Graces to her most powerful warriors, the Four Archangels, to counter the Demon King's Ten Commandments. She bore Elizabeth as a vessel for her power, feeling no maternal connection and treating her as a strategic asset. During the Holy War 3,000 years ago, she and the Demon King destroyed the human city of Belialuin and its inhabitants after being deceived by the young Merlin, who accepted gifts from both deities without allegiance. Later, she personally intervened to kill Meliodas and Elizabeth for their defiance, cursing them before being sealed away via the Coffin of Eternal Darkness. Though imprisoned, she observed subsequent events through Elizabeth's reincarnations.

In *Cursed by Light*, she awakens following the Demon King's demise and immediately moves to restart the Holy War. Using her Breath of Bless—a brainwashing technique inducing euphoric obedience—she enslaves the Second Fairy King Dahlia, the giant craftsman Dubs, and resurrected Goddess Clan members. She orchestrates invasions of the Demon Realm and Liones, aiming to eliminate the Seven Deadly Sins and their allies for ending the conflict. During the battle in Liones, she demonstrates immense power, including immunity to physical attacks and the ability to neutralize magic from the Sacred Tree. She indiscriminately attacks foes and enslaved allies alike with Shinrai, a devastating light-based technique. Confronted by Elizabeth, she dismisses their familial bond, reiterating that the Holy War is a divinely ordained game. Meliodas, drawing from the Demon King's memories, exposes her true motive: perpetuating war for her own purpose. She is ultimately defeated and destroyed by Meliodas and Zeldris using their combined technique Tyrant Killing, fading away while warning that her death would plunge the world into chaos.
