Description
Aona Godai is a significant supporting character in the anime B-Daman Fireblast, known primarily as the older sister of the main protagonist, Kamon Godai, and his brother, Ryoma. She is the daughter of Gogyo and Himiko Godai. Aona lives with Kamon in the southern area of Crest Land, where she runs her own restaurant, taking on the role of a chef to support them. In terms of appearance, she is a bit taller than Kamon and has dark teal blue hair of mid-length, which she often holds back with a pale pink headband. She has teal eyes and typically wears an elbow-length sleeved layered jacket, yellow over orange, with a white collar and laces, over a blue dress and a pair of peach red boots.

Aona has a caring and protective personality, shaped largely by past trauma. She is strict when necessary but deeply devoted to her family's well-being. Her primary motivation stems from a fateful day in the past when Kamon lost his memories after a defeat at the hands of his brother, Ryoma. Following this event, Aona took it upon herself to care for Kamon, driven by the fear that if the two brothers were to fight again, one of them might be killed. This protective instinct is the core of her character, leading her to keep certain family secrets and manage the family restaurant to provide a stable home. Unlike most other main characters in the series, Aona does not participate in B-Daman battles and does not own a B-Daman of her own. Her role in the story is therefore not as a combatant, but as an anchor and caretaker for Kamon. She is the one constant in his life after his amnesia, as he lost all past memories of B-Daman and his family except for her. She manages the restaurant where much of the daily life unfolds and offers a place of stability away from the intense battles. Aona is also good friends with Rory Takakura, the Cross Fight referee. Additionally, another B-Daman battler, Yuki Washimura, appears to have a crush on her, adding a subtle layer to her interactions with other characters.

Over the course of the story, Aona's development is closely tied to Kamon's journey. While her core nature as a protector does not change, she must gradually come to terms with Kamon re-engaging with the world of B-Daman battles that she had tried to shield him from. Her role evolves from a secret-keeper and guardian to a supportive sister who must allow Kamon to face his past and his destiny. Regarding notable abilities, Aona does not possess any skills related to B-Daman battling. Her strengths are domestic and emotional; she is an excellent cook and a capable restaurant owner, and her most significant ability is her steadfast dedication to protecting her family, particularly her amnesiac brother.
