Description
Misaki Etō is a high school student who attends the same class as Ryuji Kisaragi, the series protagonist. She is a childhood friend of Ryuji and lives in the same neighborhood as his second cousin, Eriko Nanao. Misaki has short black hair and dark eyes, and is generally considered a pretty girl. Her personality is characterized by shyness and timidity, particularly when it comes to her romantic feelings for Ryuji. She has a crush on him but is too self-conscious to express it directly, and her hesitation grows stronger after she misunderstands the relationship between Ryuji and the dragon girl Rose, mistakenly believing they are engaged. Misaki often says "hau..." as a verbal tic when she is happy, sad, or flustered, a habit her family has tried to discourage without success. She is also insecure about her small chest.
Misaki is initially unaware of the existence of Lost Precious relics or dragons. Her ordinary life changes when she inadvertently witnesses the dragon Onyx and later Sapphi using their powers, leading her to learn about the hidden supernatural world.
