Neuron is a mutant and a member of the Inner Circle, serving as the White Bishop. He joins Mastermind, Marsh, and Rat in the secret organization that manipulates events from behind the scenes. Neuron possesses the ability to amplify and overload the sensory input of others, an ability he uses to inflict extreme pain or disorientation. He demonstrates this power by attacking and killing Riko and Koichi Kaga, overloading their senses until they perish. In combat, he overpowers both Wolverine and Beast through this sensory manipulation.

After the death of his fellow Inner Circle member Rat, Mastermind summons Neuron to eliminate the X-Men. However, Wolverine manages to outwit him by turning Neuron's own sensory amplification ability against him, sending Neuron into a berserk rage that ultimately leads to his defeat. Throughout the story, Neuron acts as a loyal enforcer for Mastermind, carrying out orders without clear personal motivations beyond serving the Inner Circle's goals. He has no significant character development arc beyond his role as a formidable antagonist who is ultimately overcome by the X-Men's strategic thinking. His notable characteristics include white hair and red eyes, and his primary role is that of a physical threat whose power is neutralized by exploiting its inherent vulnerability.
