Description
Hanabi Ōmagari lives in Omagari, Akita Prefecture, where his family runs a prestigious fireworks manufacturing business. His name embodies pyrotechnics, reflecting both his heritage and the region's cultural connection to fireworks. He actively pursues dual ambitions: elevating Omagari's fireworks prominence while forging a career as a rock musician. This dual focus sparks conflict with his father, who insists fireworks demand undivided attention and views music as a distracting lack of commitment. The fireworks industry's peak season prevents family summer vacations, intensifying their disagreement.

As a pilot, Hanabi commands the Shinkalion Z E6 Komachi, later merging it with the E259 N'EX Zailiner to form the Shinkalion Z E6 Nex. His combat style wields the E6's twin pistols, which evolve into shoulder-mounted cannons post-combination. His flamboyant personality and rock star aspirations translate into theatrical piloting, marked by energetic maneuvers and English rock terminology. This demonstrative nature aligns with his long-range support role in the E6.

A pivotal shift occurs when his father witnesses him piloting the Shinkalion against a giant monster, then performing music at a festival using family-supplied fireworks. This experience transforms his father's perspective, revealing Hanabi's authentic dedication to both paths. Consequently, Hanabi earns familial acceptance for his multifaceted ambitions, resolving their core conflict. His journey demonstrates balancing multiple passions without compromising effort or sincerity, integrating heritage with personal dreams.
