Description
Sōgyoku emerges as a recurring antagonist, first appearing in Season 1, Episode 41 and returning in Season 2, Episode 11. He embodies a mischievous and opportunistic nature, functioning as a schemer who serves powerful masters only to abandon them when they face defeat. This pattern of shifting allegiances defines him, as he perpetually seeks new lords after his previous patrons fall.

Despite his villainous activities, Sōgyoku frequently displays underlying cowardice. This trait contrasts with his manipulative role, suggesting a core instinct for self-preservation that motivates his betrayals. His collaborations span multiple factions: he served under Kairen, Kirin, and the Valhallan, then associated with Nahane and the Teoti. By later narratives, he aligns with Astrea as his current collaborator.

Notably, Sōgyoku stands as the sole member of the Kitoralsus to persist as a villain throughout all anime installments, evading both redemption and permanent defeat. He shares a past camaraderie with Torame, though this dynamic fractures over time.
