Description
Naoya Shirokawa is a student at Seika High School, where he is known among his classmates as a member of the so-called Moron Trio, alongside Ikuto Sarashina and Ryuunosuke Kurosaki, and he serves as the unofficial leader of the group. He is often referred to by his nickname Shiroyan. At seventeen years old, he stands 180 centimeters tall and possesses above‑average physical strength, a trait that traces back to his middle‑school days when he was a delinquent known as the White Demon.

Initially, Naoya harbors a strong dislike for Misaki Ayuzawa, the student council president, because of her forceful and uncompromising methods in reforming the school, particularly her strict enforcement of dress code and discipline. This antagonism changes early in the story when Naoya and his friends discover that Misaki works part‑time at Café Maid Latte, a maid‑themed café. After a confrontation with Takumi Usui, which ends with Naoya being overpowered, the trio quickly becomes Misaki’s biggest fans and regular customers at the café, frequently visiting to support her.

Naoya’s personality is energetic, playful, and somewhat boisterous, with a particular love for hero shows. He is easily caught up in mischief alongside his two friends, but beneath his troublemaking exterior lies a sense of loyalty and a good‑natured heart. His motivations revolve around having fun and maintaining his friendships, and he shows no lasting resentment after his initial grudge against Misaki fades.

In the story, Naoya functions primarily as a supporting character and a source of comic relief. His antics with the Moron Trio provide lighter moments, and his shift from antagonist to devoted fan reflects one of the series’ recurring themes of people misjudging Misaki before coming to appreciate her. Over the course of the series, Naoya develops a genuine fondness for Misaki and becomes a dependable regular at her workplace, even helping to protect her secret from others on occasion.

His key relationships are with the other two members of the trio, with whom he shares a close‑knit friendship that dates back to middle school in the case of Ryuunosuke. His relationship with Misaki evolves from hostility to playful camaraderie, and he maintains a respectful, if casual, rapport with Usui. Later in the manga, Naoya is shown to have matured, marrying and raising three children.

Naoya’s notable abilities are centered on his physical prowess, which he used in his delinquent past to earn the reputation of the White Demon. In the present, his strength is occasionally called upon for roughhousing or minor conflicts, but he generally channels his energy into supporting his friends and enjoying his school life.
