Description
Dracomon is a supporting character in Digimon Fusion and a member of the Blue Flare army. He is a small, teal Dragon Digimon with red-orange wings, horns, and eyes. His background lies with the Bagra Army, originally serving under Dorbickmon, the Fire-Fury General and ruler of Dragon Land. However, Dracomon deserted the Bagra Army because his personal ideal of strength was incompatible with Dorbickmon’s philosophy and methods. While in Dragon Land, he was encountered by Mikey Kudo and Shoutmon, who saved him from a group of hostile Digimon. It was also in Dragon Land that Dracomon met Christopher Aonuma. Dracomon quickly came to idolize the human general, and he played a role in helping Christopher achieve the evolution of MetalGreymon into ZekeGreymon. Following these events and the liberation of Dragon Land, Dracomon decided to leave his homeland and officially join Christopher’s Blue Flare team.
In terms of personality, Dracomon has a ferocious nature but is capable of showing a gentler side to those he recognizes as allies. He is shown to be a tactical thinker; his time as a former member of the Bagra Army gave him insider knowledge that he used to help formulate plans for the Fusion Fighters United Army in their campaign against the Dark Generals. Despite his confidence, he can be tentative when expressing his opinions, especially around Christopher. Having been on the sidelines for a considerable period after joining Blue Flare, he was careful not to overstep or challenge Christopher’s authority, indicating a respect for the chain of command within the group. His cleverness is displayed in battle, such as when he conceived a strategy to flood an area as a distraction to allow his allies to rescue captured friends.
Dracomon’s primary role in the story is as a valued member of Blue Flare and later the larger Fusion Fighters United Army. His key relationship is with Christopher Aonuma, whom he idolizes and follows loyally. He also works alongside other members of the team, including Digimon like MailBirdramon, Deckerdramon, and Cyberdramon. His development sees him transition from a deserter of the Bagra Army, initially fighting for his own ideals of strength, to a committed and integrated member of a unified team. Although he is happy to be an active participant, his journey also includes learning to function within a group and finding his own way to contribute to collective successes without losing his individual identity.

While his wings are not sufficiently developed for flight, his physical power and quick wits are considered to be top class among Rookie-level Digimon. His notable attacks include Baby Breath, Tail Smash, and G Shurunen. A defining characteristic is his nature to collect shiny things, with a specific attachment to gems and metals, which he also consumes. He possesses a unique and dangerous vulnerability known as the Gekirin, a single scale among those covering his body. If this scale is touched, Dracomon loses his mind to an intense rage and will indiscriminately fire his G Shurunen attack. He is also capable of participating in Digi-Fusion. When Christopher performs a DigiFuse combining Dracomon with Cyberdramon, they form a larger, heavily armored Digimon named CyberDracomon, which possesses the attack Death Divider, a spinning tornado maneuver that cuts everything in its path.
