Kowasundaa (also called Super Zettai Yaraneeda or Chou Zettai Yaraneeda) is an enhanced variant of the Yaraneeda monsters faced by the Pretty Cure team. Created under Butler's command, it signifies a major escalation in the antagonists' power. Unlike standard Yaraneeda, Kowasundaa specifically uses living creatures as hosts, increasing its danger and resistance to standard purification. This entity drains "Motivation Power" from victims, inducing apathy and helplessness. Its formidable abilities overwhelmed the Cures' standard attacks, requiring the Tropical Heart Dresser for purification. Kowasundaa debuted during the series' progression into more serious storylines, appearing in Episode 36 and again in Episodes 42-43. Butler deployed it to gather sufficient Motivation Power to activate the Fool's Casket and destroy the world. The name "Kowasundaa," meaning "I'll destroy" or "I'll break" in Japanese, reflects its destructive purpose and enhanced power compared to earlier Yaraneeda variants like the Zenzen Yaraneeda.
