Description
Chiri Kitsu is a student in class 2-F, though her classmates frequently refer to her as the class representative due to her behavior, a title she does not officially hold. Physically, she is a fair-skinned girl with long black hair that she traditionally wears in a style parted precisely down the middle; ironically, her natural hair is actually curly rather than straight. Her defining characteristic is an extreme, obsessive-compulsive need for everything in her life to be precise, equal, and conforming. Even minor imperfections cause her significant distress, and she is known for her methodical approach to all tasks. This personality trait is reflected in the origin of her name, which is derived from the Japanese word kitchiri, meaning precisely.
Her role in the story is primarily defined by her interactions with her teacher, Nozomu Itoshiki. When things are not done properly, she can become extremely cruel and violent, often threatening, stabbing, or attempting to kill, torture, or bury those who transgress her rules, with Itoshiki-sensei being her most frequent target.
