Primella is an anime-exclusive character in the second season of the Blue Dragon television series, where she appears as a young girl with white hair who serves as the oracle of the White Guardians. She is introduced as the granddaughter of the faction's leader, Dr. Tarkovsky, who raised her within the group. In the English version of the series she is also referred to as Puri Mura.

Primella's defining ability is foresight: she can see future events and shares her visions selectively to guide others. When Shu encounters her in the city of Nirvana, she tells him that if he reaches Laybach before the next new moon, he will find the answer he is looking for, and this prophecy redirects the course of his journey. Later she passes a message to Shu through Jiro, showing that she acts as a quiet but influential figure behind the scenes. Once the White Guardians begin their military advance, Shu seeks her out to stop the war, and Bouquet infiltrates the fleet's flagship to relay his request, but Primella refuses to meet him and states that the war cannot be stopped.

Her apparent frailty and passivity mask her true nature. As the story approaches the final battle, it is revealed that Primella is not an ordinary child: she is the pure soul of Zola, granted a physical body by Dr. Tarkovsky after he found her. The purity of her soul is extraordinary, and it is said to be strong enough to defeat Rudolph, which makes her existence central to the conflict despite her lack of combat ability.

Primella's personality is shaped by the burden of her knowledge and her origin.
