Pero 2, also known as Pelops II, emerged when Mei Kamino downloaded Yun Arikawa's communication support AI, Naratake, onto her laptop. The AI evolved beyond its original parameters, developing a distinct identity and playful personality that contrasted with Naratake's reserved nature. Mei named this new entity after her deceased pet dog, Pelops, designating it as the second iteration.
Typically manifesting as a dog-like digital entity reflecting Mei's fondness for canines, Pero 2's form distinguished it from Naratake's initial appearance, though it retained some visual similarities upon first installation.
