Nanami Inatsuki is a mysterious young girl discovered aboard the Aries space station. She appears as a child with short blonde hair cropped around her face, bright green eyes, and a pale pink sailor-style uniform with a white headband. Her personality is innocent and childlike; she speaks in the third person, asks many questions, and initially feels lonely before learning the truth about her origins. Nanami is revealed to be an artificial being created from a combination of Sukyura cells and human cells, the unexpected result of the intimate relationship between Shuhei Aizawa and Nao Morisaki. She regards Shuhei as her father and Nao as her mother, forming a strong emotional bond with both of them. As the story progresses, Nanami becomes central to the resolution of the conflict: because of her unique hybrid nature, she is the only one who can counter the ability of the antagonist Cellaria to spread Sukyura cells, ultimately destroying Cellaria and ending the threat. Her development moves from a lonely, enigmatic foundling to a decisive figure who understands her purpose and embraces her family. Nanami’s abilities are tied directly to her cellular composition, granting her immunity or resistance to Cellaria’s control and the power to neutralize Sukyura cell propagation.
