TV-Series
Description
Eriko Odawara is a character from the anime Chocotto Sister, where she is known as a television idol. She is also referred to by the nickname Odaeri. Physically, Eriko is a young woman with long pink hair that reaches her waist, which she often ties into a ponytail. Her eyes are blue, and her appearance includes distinctive traits such as a twin ahoge, a hair ribbon, a bell, and gloves.

As an idol, Eriko is famous for performing the Nekonyan Dance live on television every morning. Despite her public success, she experiences moments of discontent with her role. In one notable instance, she becomes tired of her idol persona and decides to bail out of a scheduled performance at a kindergarten in Choco's neighborhood. This action reveals a more vulnerable and frustrated side to her personality, as she struggles with the pressures and repetitive nature of her job.

Her perspective changes following a chance encounter with Makoto, a character who is strongly implied to be the famous gravure idol Arisa Otokami. This meeting helps Eriko reconsider the true importance of her work and the positive impact she has on her audience. Following this change of heart, she personally visits Choco's apartment to give the young girl a private performance of the Nekonyan Dance. Her key relationship in the story is therefore with Choco, the recipient of this gesture, and indirectly with Makoto, whose influence serves as a catalyst for her renewed appreciation of her role as an idol. No information is available regarding her background prior to her career, her family, her development across other episodes, her abilities beyond performing the Nekonyan Dance, or other lasting relationships.
