Description
Kira Sakurazuki is one of the twin granddaughters of the leader of the local yakuza organization, the Sakurazuki faction. Standing at 158 centimeters tall, she and her twin sister Yura share a birthday on March 17. Having grown up in a very sheltered and affluent environment, almost like a greenhouse, Kira initially lacks a great deal of common sense regarding everyday life.

In the Futakoi Alternative narrative, Kira and her sister find themselves in an antagonistic relationship with their father, the yakuza boss, over his changing methods and priorities. While he is portrayed as someone who once cared for the people of his community, his shift toward aggressive and profit-driven expansionism is something his daughters strongly oppose. To directly confront and interfere with their father's underground activities, Kira adopts a secret identity. Donning a Gothic Lolita-style outfit and a mask, she self-proclaims as Goth Loli Mask, fighting alongside her sister to disrupt the yakuza's operations. She is also known to carry a handgun.

The primary motivation driving Kira's actions is a desire to see her father return to his former, more honorable self. Rather than exposing him to the authorities or the press, Kira and Yura choose a more personal confrontation, revealing their secret identities to him and tearfully expressing their wish for him to change his ways. Kira's role in the story is deeply tied to this familial conflict, as she actively works against the Sakurazuki faction's agenda while trying to hold onto her family bonds.

Key relationships define Kira's world. The most significant is with her twin sister Yura, with whom she shares everything, including their secret mission and life at home. Their father, the yakuza boss, is the central figure they both love and oppose. Kenmochi serves as the twins' butler and chief bodyguard. Unlike in the original Futakoi series, where the sisters work together to win a boy's affection, the dynamic in Alternative is more focused on their familial and vigilante activities. Their connection to the main protagonist Rentarou Futaba involves his detective work, as he eventually discovers their secret and aids them in their plan to expose their father's wrongdoings.

Throughout the story, Kira undergoes notable development as she shifts from passively living a sheltered life to actively taking a stand against her own family's organization. Her decision to move from secrecy to an open confrontation with her father marks a key step in her character arc, demonstrating a willingness to fight for her principles and her family's legacy in a very direct way. This act, culminating in a tearful plea, shows a mature desire for reconciliation and change rather than simple rebellion. Her notable abilities include her combat skills as a masked vigilante, which allow her to effectively disrupt yakuza operations, and her resourcefulness, demonstrated when she and her sister successfully infiltrate their father's home to steal his account book.
