Description
Lili Borjarno is the youngest daughter of Duke Borjarno, the ruler of the Luzianna territory, a feudal region in North America that was once the state of Louisiana. She is the last of thirteen children and carries herself with the easy confidence of a sheltered aristocrat. With long, wavy black hair and purple eyes, she is often seen in refined red clothing. She has a free-spirited and sociable nature and a noted fondness for hot chocolate.

At first glance, Lili seems to be little more than a spoiled dilettante. She behaves pettily toward Kihel Heim, unaware that Kihel is actually Queen Dianna Soreil of the Moonrace in disguise, and appears to treat her work for the Militia as a casual amusement. She allows the ambitious politician Guin Sard Lineford to use her as a pawn, apparently driven by a childish infatuation with him. Yet this frivolous exterior conceals a sharp and calculating mind. Lili possesses the insight to see through people's true natures and the ability to grasp the deeper truths behind political situations. As the story unfolds, she reveals herself to be an insightful and astute politician.

Her motivations are rooted in a pragmatic understanding of power. She recognizes the importance of gathering powerful friends and allies, and she has no hesitation in discarding those who become liabilities. When Guin’s overreaching ambitions begin to endanger his position, Lili subtly shifts her allegiances. She negotiates with the Moonrace leader Agrippa Maintainer on Earth’s behalf and, after Guin falls from grace, steps in to take control of the WillGame, effectively becoming Earth’s official ambassador and spokesperson before the Moonrace.

Lili’s key relationships evolve over the course of the conflict. Her early closeness to Guin is a professional alliance rather than a genuine bond; she uses him as a stepping stone and later abandons him once he is no longer useful. Her interactions with Kihel are initially marked by condescension and petty tricks, such as tricking Kihel into volunteering for the most unpleasant tasks at a field hospital. Lili’s deep mortification upon learning that Kihel is actually Queen Dianna in disguise shows that her pride is real, though it does not derail her political ambitions. Her dealings with Agrippa Maintainer reveal her capability as a negotiator, and her smooth assumption of leadership demonstrates her adaptability and resilience.

In terms of development, Lili undergoes a transformation from a seemingly frivolous noblewoman into a key political figure who helps steer Earth’s side of the negotiations with the Moonrace. Her notable abilities are not martial or technical but social and strategic: a keen eye for opportunity, the nerve to renegotiate loyalties, and the diplomatic skill to stand as Earth’s representative. She embodies the theme that appearances can be deceiving, and that a person dismissed as a shallow rich girl can turn out to be one of the most clear-sighted players in the game.
