OVA
Description
Kaede Yoshino is a young girl who appears in the Naruto franchise. She is a student at the Ninja Academy in the Hidden Leaf Village. Kaede has long, light blue or aqua-colored hair that is usually tied up a short distance from the end to form a loose ponytail. She has large eyes of a similar light blue color and fair skin. For attire, she is shown wearing a pink, kimono-style garment fastened with a yellow obi sash.

Her personality is characterized as gentle and caring. In the story, Kaede is a classmate of Konohamaru Sarutobi, who has developed a strong fondness for her. Her family is forced to leave the Hidden Leaf Village because her father has been assigned a mission that requires them to relocate. Deeply unhappy about this impending move, Kaede confides in her friends, who tell her about a legend concerning a crimson four-leaf clover. According to the legend, this special clover, which grows in a dangerous and forbidden location called Akagahara, has the power to grant any one wish to the person who finds it.

Kaede’s situation and her desire to stay are the central motivations for the events of the story. Konohamaru, hoping to make her wish come true so she will not have to leave, enlists the help of Naruto Uzumaki to retrieve the clover for her. Her role in the narrative is primarily that of the emotional catalyst for Konohamaru's adventure, rather than an active participant. At the conclusion of the story, Konohamaru successfully finds the clover and gives it to Kaede as a gift. Although receiving the clover does not change her family's circumstances and she must still leave the village, she gives Konohamaru a gentle kiss on the cheek before her departure, showing her appreciation for his efforts. It is implied that she may share his feelings, as she wished to see him one last time before leaving.

As a young Academy student with a very limited role in a single story, Kaede does not undergo significant personal development, nor is she depicted having any notable ninja abilities or combat skills.
