Description
Coco Ninna-Nanna is a young and playful Melos Warrior who operates as the leader of an insurgent group she calls an armed theatrical company named Chentauro, which fights against the society run by Monsters. Her last name is the Italian word for lullaby, and she carries a distinctive personality that blends a feisty, risqué sense of humor with a level of maturity and intelligence that often surpasses that of the protagonist, Bocca Serenade. Despite her youthful and petite appearance, she is a masterful and confident warrior. She has a tragic backstory, having been kidnapped from her parents as a child in the toy section of a department store by an agent of the Monster Union. Though she managed to escape before she could be sacrificed, the trauma of the event left her unable to remember the identity of her parents or the location of her home.

Coco is accompanied by three Unicorn-series Aibar machines she freed and named Hikari, Nick, and Kuron, which form the backbone of her theatrical fighting group. Her role in the story becomes deeply intertwined with the main characters as she fights alongside them, uncovering mysteries and battling monsters. A key relationship and significant development in her personal arc involves a tragic reunion with her father, who is revealed to be the Prime Minister. Due to unfortunate circumstances, they only come together when he is on the brink of death, and father and daughter never get to know each other beyond physical appearance. In another episode, she works alongside Bocca to infiltrate a castle to rescue their friends Sayoko and Toune, during which she opens up about her past. In terms of appearance, she is depicted with blue eyes and purple neck-length hair, often wearing a school uniform and fingerless gloves, and her Melos tattoo, marking her as a warrior, is located on her right cheek. Her notable abilities, like other Melos Warriors, allow her to manifest a bow to fire arrows at monsters; her bow is formed from a stick she carries that expands upon her command. Her signature special attack is called Four Card, a reference to a four-of-a-kind poker hand.
