Description
Professor Namba, also known as Dr. Namba, is a recurring antagonist in the Pokémon anime, including the spin-off series Pokémon Chronicles, where he operates as a senior scientist within the criminal organization Team Rocket. He holds a high-ranking position in the group's research division and acts as the direct superior of the Rocket agents Butch and Cassidy, assigning them missions, supplying them with experimental technology, and monitoring their progress from his hidden base.
In terms of background, Namba was originally a gifted researcher with many scientific achievements, but his preference for unethical and morally questionable work led him to join Team Rocket, which sought out capable scientists and gave him the freedom to pursue such experiments.
