Kouhei Ooike is a supporting character in Dan Doh!! A longtime friend of Tadamichi Aoba, known as Dandoh, he originally played baseball together with Dandoh and Yuka Sunada. In those early baseball games, Ooike could drive the ball even farther than Dandoh. When Dandoh’s unexpected introduction to golf sparks a new passion, Ooike follows him into the sport. He carries over considerable power from his baseball swing, giving him notable distance off the tee, and he is especially skilled at putting. His steady presence and willingness to switch sports alongside Dandoh reflect a loyal and supportive personality. Throughout the story Ooike remains a dependable companion on the course, contributing his long-game strength and reliable putting to the group’s pursuit of competitive golf.
