TV-Series
Description
Lavie is a supporting character in the anime and manga series Sgt. Frog. She is the younger sister of the alien known as 556, or Kogoro. Like her brother, she is an alien from the planet Keron, but she appears entirely human, with long blonde hair, pink eyes, and a pair of rabbit ears that are actually part of a hairband or similar accessory. Her physical measurements are listed at a height of 148 centimeters and a weight of 45 kilograms.

In terms of personality, Lavie is shy, soft-spoken, and the more responsible sibling in her family. She often works multiple part-time jobs in order to support both herself and her brother, since 556 is frequently unable to hold steady employment. She is a normal, grounded individual compared to her brother’s eccentric and sometimes troublemaking nature. Despite the frustration this causes, she is a caring sibling; she can quickly read her brother’s expressions and is often the one to apologize for his behavior, frequently saying lines such as “I’m sorry for your brother.” Her primary motivation appears to be taking care of herself and her brother, enduring the challenges of daily life with a resigned but patient attitude.

Within the story, Lavie’s role is as a minor recurring figure who appears mainly in connection with 556’s episodes. She interacts with other characters primarily through her brother, and her presence highlights the domestic and financial struggles that the more ordinary members of the Keronian cast face on Earth. She does not possess any special combat abilities or advanced technology like the main platoon members; her notable skill lies in her diligent work ethic and her perceptiveness regarding her brother’s moods.

Lavie’s key relationship is with her brother 556, whom she constantly looks after despite his carefree nature. She has limited direct interaction with the main Keroro Platoon, but she is aware of their alien status and generally tries to keep out of their more chaotic schemes. Over the course of the series, Lavie does not undergo significant personal development; she remains a consistently responsible and beleaguered figure who serves as a contrast to the more eccentric aliens around her.
