TV-Series
Description
Doctor Asimov is one of two male doctors affiliated with the organization known as the Tetsumen Tou. His name is a reference to the renowned science fiction author Isaac Asimov, who is famous for his works concerning robotics. Doctor Asimov has a son who appears in the series, and the protagonist Ken faces this son in combat during the twenty-eighth episode.

In his earlier years, Doctor Asimov was himself an excellent robot pilot. This skill is demonstrated through his ability to pilot the Black Jaguar robot, which he operates alongside his son. As a doctor within the Tetsumen Tou, he fulfills a medical role within the organization, though his practical experience as a pilot indicates a background that blends technical and combat expertise.

As the series progresses toward its conclusion, Doctor Asimov encounters significant peril. He is among several characters, including Marilyn, Orjin, Norman, and Hashnikov, who are captured and used as energy supplies by the Sigma computer and a being known as Sigma-Ken. After being exploited for their energy, the Sigma computer ultimately decides to discard them, leaving them to perish. In this critical state, the characters Kumano and Freud are able to reach Doctor Asimov and the others, providing the necessary assistance to save their lives just in time. This sequence represents a key development for the character, transitioning him from a supporting figure within the Tetsumen Tou to a victim of a larger, more menacing force, before being rescued through the efforts of his allies.
