Description
Lieutenant Thomas Richard Shubaltz is a Zoid pilot and a member of the multinational Guardian Force, a peacekeeping unit formed after the war between the Helic Republic and the Guylos Empire. He is the younger brother of Colonel Karl Schubaltz, a high-ranking officer in the Imperial Army. Thomas grew up in a wealthy household, and from a young age he felt overshadowed by his brother’s accomplishments. This drove him to prove his own worth, leading him to attend a technical college and later join the military, where he attained the rank of lieutenant.
Thomas possesses strong technical aptitude and is the sole inventor of the BEEK AI system, a specialized artificial intelligence unit that can be installed into a Zoid and communicates through a series of distinctive beeps. His personal Zoid, the Dibison (also referred to as Beke in some materials), is equipped with this system, allowing it to operate with a degree of independent thought.
