TV-Series
Description
Shiman Ijūin ranks as the #7 Bottle Star. He has white hair with distinctive black sideburns and brown eyes, typically seen wearing glasses. His attire includes a white shirt with a red stripe, a grey, black, and blue vest, grey trousers, and black-and-white sneakers.

His personality strictly adheres to rules, consistently correcting deviations. Despite this strictness, he operates fairly, respecting opponents who show genuine effort and passion, and holds himself to the same standards. He firmly believes in every Bottle Battler's right to free expression, viewing restrictions on this freedom as fundamentally wrong.

Shiman first encounters the protagonist, Cota, during a challenge where he declares his intent to confiscate Cota's Bottleman, Colamaru DX, if victorious. After winning, he chooses not to enforce this penalty, allowing Cota to retain Colamaru DX. Later, the Bottleman Association tasks him, Roland Asue, and Ayata Ebarata with investigating anomalies during the Bottle Royale tournament. During this investigation, a rampaging Ryo incapacitates the trio using his Aquasports DX's bottle cap attack.

He subsequently aligns with BMA supporters against the antagonistic groups B-DACT and later Team Citrus. In the decisive Bottle King Bottle Royale, Shiman forms a team with Roland and Ayata to battle Cota, but Cota ultimately eliminates him from the competition. After the resolution of the tournament's AI crisis, he is seen cheering alongside other rivals and friends for Cota and Ryo.

His Bottleman partner is the power-type Kerpeps DX. When Bottle King Citrus implements a new, emotion-suppressing Bottle Battling format via Team Citrus, Shiman perceives this system as unethical for removing player individuality. He allies with Kaori Hakase and Ayata Ebarata, uniting with other prominent Bottle Battlers under Tsubasa Akaushi's leadership to challenge Citrus's authority and fight for preserving personal expression within the sport.

His name derives from "Pepsiman," the mascot for Pepsi, while his surname may reference Atsumasa Ijūin from the Super B-Daman series. An early conceptual design for Tsubasa Akaushi was repurposed for Shiman's hair coloration.
