Anju Munakata employs Hosomichi Kudō at her Kabukicho host bar, holding significant debt over him originally incurred by his parents. This financial obligation dictates their relationship. Munakata becomes involved with the Arahabaki resistance after discovering an empty Garandoll mech cockpit with Kudō. Seeing profit potential, she permits Kudō to pilot the mech as a novel debt repayment method, integrating them both into Arahabaki's operations.

Profit-obsessed and occasionally reckless, especially when intoxicated, Munakata's drunkenness proves disastrous. She reveals Kudō's Arahabaki affiliation to True Army commander Akatsuki Shinonome, directly jeopardizing the resistance and Akihabara. Subsequently, Munakata and Kudō attempt to steal the Garandoll to sell it to the True Army, a blatant betrayal seemingly disregarding the likelihood of execution over payment after her confession.

Though Munakata later abandons Arahabaki with Kudō, witnessing pleas from the Battery Girls prompts a change of heart, leading her to rejoin the resistance. She participates in the final battle against the True Army and ultimately aligns with Arahabaki to confront the invaders in their home dimension after Akatsuki Shinonome switches sides. Munakata has brown hair.
