TV-Series
Description
Kisara, a centuries-old demon sealed within a snowy mountain cavern, was discovered by Shu Ogata, forming a contract that binds them despite their violent origins. Though her precise age exceeds a century, she adopts the guise of a high school student—complete with uniform, long pink hair fastened by a ribbon, crimson eyes, and a bandaged right thigh—to assimilate into Bayron City’s daily life. Her demonic form contrasts sharply: a black dress, gloves, stockings, a crimson ribbon, a solitary wing, a horn, and a sword channeling energy projectiles.

Classified as a super A-rank demon hazard, she wields shockwaves, phased movement, superhuman speed, strength, and minor regenerative healing. Her powers thrive on memory consumption, primarily drawn from Shu via their contract, which amplifies her abilities while eroding his senses. She also harvests memories from deceased demons to aid investigations. A ritual with Shu temporarily heightens her strength, though prolonged separation weakens her.

Three years before current events, Shu and Sharon Holygrail, a Celestial Abbey nun, assaulted Kisara in her sealed state, nearly destroying her. This clash forged a partnership where Kisara aids Shu’s quest to avenge his family’s demon-orchestrated demise. Though devoted, Kisara is relegated to a tool for vengeance, her romantic feelings unreturned as Shu fixates on retribution. She maintains his household, finances, and part-time employment, balancing loyalty with quiet resentment.

Her personality oscillates between possessive jealousy—directed at Shu’s ex-lover Ayano—and unexpected compassion, saving Ayano repeatedly and revealing her memory-draining contract to shield Shu from abandonment. She manipulates scenarios to incite Shu’s jealousy, such as strategic social media use, yet avoids genuine malice, favoring comedic rivalry. Named after Shu’s first kiss, her pre-contract history remains shrouded beyond her demonic essence.

Within the narrative, Kisara embodies exploitation and emotional labor, enduring Shu’s instrumental use while confronting his unresolved ties to Ayano. Her arc navigates the tension between self-respect and unwavering devotion, marked by tactical vulnerability and quiet resilience. The spin-off *Engage Kill* situates her within its central cast, though her role’s specifics remain undefined.
