Description
Rika Seto leads the DJ unit Merm4id. Born on August 30, she stands 160 cm tall, weighs 49 kg, and has blood type A. She possesses light auburn hair styled in curled pigtails with side-swept bangs, brownish-gold eyes, and fair skin. Her build is slim and fit.

She began DJing with her best friend, Marika Mizushima. They later formed Merm4id after meeting Saori Hidaka and Dalia Matsuyama by chance at a club. Guided by her motto, "Life's too short not to have fun!", Rika maintains a positive outlook. Her active university life revolves around dancing, singing, and attending parties. She is naturally gifted, frequently overcoming challenges through a mix of luck and personal charm.

Energetic and consistently focused on the brighter side of situations, Rika is Saori Hidaka's polar opposite. Known as "The Life of the Party in Merm4id," her charismatic nature draws others into fun activities, and she maintains strong rapport with high-spirited members from other units. Despite her party-loving reputation suggesting superficiality, she demonstrates deep empathy and genuine care for her unit. This is evident when she proactively supports Saori through organizational challenges for an international DJ collaboration, providing substantial assistance despite initially contributing to the workload.

Her interests include watching sports, visiting theme parks, and riding her motorcycle. She possesses various part-time job skills and excels at volleyball. She favors deluxe ribs and dislikes mushrooms (though she can consume them), mold, and spiders. Her English proficiency is limited, yet she manages basic communication with foreigners.

In the Double Mix narrative, Rika exhibits unusual behavior during a swimsuit gravure shoot, causing concern among Marika, Saori, and Dalia. Later, she encounters Aoyagi Tsubaki of RONDO alongside other members after a live performance. During this interaction, she offers Tsubaki unexpected suggestions, reflecting her ability to inspire others through her optimistic worldview and spontaneous ideas.

Her name, "Seto Rika," connects thematically to her DJ activities. "Seto" (瀬戸) combines "Se" (瀬), meaning rapids or waves, and "To" (戸), meaning door or family. "Rika" (リカ) is written in katakana, and the portmanteau "Setori" (セトリ) references "set list"—the planned sequence of songs in a DJ performance.
