Description
Hart Tenjo, known as Haruto Tenjo in the original Japanese version, is the younger brother of Kite Tenjo and the younger son of Dr. Faker. He is a central figure in the conflict between the Astral and Barian worlds due to the unique supernatural abilities he possesses, which originate from the Barian World. His father abuses these powers in an effort to destroy the Astral World and collect the Number cards.
In terms of background, Hart was born frail and sickly. In an attempt to save his son's life, Dr. Faker made a deal with the Barian World entity Vector. This bargain sustained Hart’s life but subjected him to a dark influence and granted him dangerous powers. Before this, Hart lived a happy and simple life with his brother Kite and the robot Orbital 7 in a small wooden villa, where they spent their days playing games and enjoying treats like hot chocolate. However, his powers eventually drew the attention of Mr. Heartland, who took Hart to Heartland Tower on Dr. Faker's orders.
Hart’s personality is defined by a tragic split caused by the Barian influence. Under normal circumstances, or when not actively using his powers, he appears vulnerable, frail, and melancholic. He is often seen confined to bed or staring blankly out from the Heartland Tower, unable to understand why he cannot share in the laughter and joy of the people below.
