TV-Series
Description
Alisa Ilinichina Amiella is a central character in the God Eater series, first introduced as a gifted but deeply troubled teenage soldier. Born on March 25, she is a Russian native who joined the Fenrir Russian Branch in 2070 at the age of 15, transferring to the Fenrir Far East Branch the following year at the request of Director Johannes von Schicksal. As one of the few New-Type God Eaters at the time, she wields a second-generation God Arc, a variable weapon capable of transforming between a longsword and an assault rifle, paired with a shield known as Primstone.
Physically, Alisa is recognized by her long silver hair and striking blue eyes. Her signature outfit includes a black and red plaid beret, a black leather jacket, a matching plaid miniskirt, and black over-the-knee leather boots. This appearance complements her initially sharp and imposing demeanor. At the start of her assignment, Alisa exhibits a high degree of pride and a condescending attitude towards her peers. Because of her status as a rare New-Type, she views the Old-Type God Eaters of the Far East Branch as inferior, often displaying impatience and a willingness to speak her mind bluntly. However, this arrogant exterior conceals a fragile psyche. As a child, Alisa witnessed her parents being brutally killed before her eyes by a powerful Aragami known as Dyaus Pita (also referred to as the Heavenly Father or帝王狮), which left her with a specific and severe trauma regarding tiger-like Aragami.
This psychological wound is the core of her character. She suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, which can cause her to freeze or become mentally unstable during combat if she encounters an Aragami resembling the one that killed her family. Her trauma is further exploited by Director Schicksal, who subjects her to regular therapy sessions. During these sessions, Schicksal implants a deep psychological suggestion, or hypnosis, that causes Alisa to perceive Captain Lindow Amamiya as the same monster that murdered her parents. This conditioning triggers a breakdown during the critical Moon in the Welkin mission. Confronted by an Aragami similar to her parents' killer, she turns her weapon on Lindow. Although she regains control enough to miss, her stray shot collapses the entrance to a church, trapping Lindow behind enemy lines and forcing the team to retreat without him.
This event devastates Alisa, plunging her into guilt and depression. Her recovery begins thanks to the protagonist, with whom she experiences a resonant phenomenon. Through their support and the camaraderie of the Far East Branch, she slowly learns to trust others and accept help. She gifts the protagonist a memento called the Teardrop Shield as a symbol of her gratitude and regained resolve. This period marks a turning point, as her personality softens considerably. She becomes a cooperative, kind, and protective ally, transforming into a model God Eater respected for her tactical knowledge and teamwork. Later, when she and colleague Sakuya Tachibana uncover the truth of the Ark Project, Schicksal attempts to activate her subconscious command again, ordering her to kill Sakuya. In a powerful act of defiance, Alisa resists the compulsion and only fires recovery bullets, solidifying her freedom from his control.
As the story progresses into God Eater 2, Alisa matures into a composed and capable leader. Now 18 years old and slightly taller, she serves as a project leader for Cradle, a specialized unit focused on exploring and securing satellite据点 for humanity's long-term survival. In battle, her abilities are formidable; she excels in tactical theory and实战 experience. She is known to use a variety of shot types, including homing recovery bullets to heal allies, and by the events of God Eater 2, she has awakened a powerful Blood Art technique known as Sonic Caliber. Her relationships with her comrades deepen significantly; she shares a strong bond with the protagonist, a respectful friendship with Lindow and Sakuya, and a complex understanding with the solitary Soma Schicksal. Ultimately, Alisa's journey is one of overcoming profound trauma through human connection, evolving from a proud but broken soldier into one of the most reliable and emotionally mature heroes in the Fenrir organization.
