Description
Hilary Tachibana is a central character introduced in the second season of the original Beyblade series, Beyblade V-Force, and continues to appear in Beyblade G-Revolution. She is a classmate of the protagonist, Tyson Granger, and serves as the president of her class, a position she takes very seriously. Hilary has brown hair that falls to her shoulders and ruby or brown eyes, depending on the series, and her typical outfit in V-Force consists of a pink shirt over a black tank top paired with a short white skirt and red sneakers.

Initially, Hilary has a strong dislike for Beyblading, which she views as a stupid game. This attitude is primarily born from her frustration with Tyson, who has become arrogant and neglects his school duties following his victory in the World Championships. As class president, she is not afraid to confront him publicly and even uses her authority to make him clean the classroom as punishment. Her personality is characterized as stubborn, loud, bossy, and a born leader, with a tomboyish demeanor. However, beneath this tough exterior lies a kind, caring, and fiercely loyal individual. Before befriending the Bladebreakers, Hilary had acquaintances but no truly close friends.

As she spends more time with Tyson and Kenny, Hilary begins to warm up to Beyblading. Her primary motivation becomes supporting her friends, and she eventually takes on the role of the teams manager and voice of reason. She is one of the few people capable of keeping the hot-headed Tyson in line. Hilary proves her cleverness on several occasions, such as suggesting they contact Mr. Dickenson for help when mysterious Bladers appear, and proposing they use a lighthouse to call for assistance when stranded on an island. Her determination to see Bit-Beasts for herself is fulfilled when she witnesses Ray's battle. Hilary officially joins the Bladebreakers team in the eighth episode of V-Force.

Throughout V-Force, Hilary's relationship with Tyson is central, defined by frequent arguments and her efforts to manage his behavior. This dynamic is a running source of comedy. Her connections with the other Bladebreakers, including Kenny, Kai, Ray, and Max, develop quickly as she becomes an integral part of the group.

In the subsequent series, G-Revolution, Hilary matures and becomes more responsible, though she also displays a more violent temper. When other team members leave to pursue their own paths, she, along with Kenny, remains loyal and stays by Tyson's side as his manager. A recurring gag in this season involves her poor cooking skills, which she uses to care for Tyson and the new character Daichi Sumeragi, who nicknames her Grandma. Her relationship with Tyson deepens, with hints suggesting she may have a small crush on him.

Unlike most main characters, Hilary does not own a Bit-Beast and is not a competitive Blader, though she does briefly attempt to use a Beyblade called Hopper in G-Revolution, failing miserably at it. Her primary abilities lie in her leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational skills, which prove vital to the team's success.
