TV-Series
Description
In the anime television series Street Fighter II V, Fei Long is portrayed as a young and rapidly rising martial arts film star based in Hong Kong. As a teenager, he is already one of Dorai's most accomplished students, having trained under the respected Hong Kong police inspector from a young age. This connection makes him a childhood acquaintance of Dorai's daughter, Chun-Li, creating a familial bond between them. Fei Long is characterized by his intense seriousness and a deep-seated pride in his fighting abilities, which he channels into his film career. His passion for authentic combat is so profound that he insists on using real fighting techniques during his movie scenes, a practice that often results in unintended injuries to his co-stars and significant damage to the film sets. This dedication to realism blurs the line between performance and genuine confrontation.

Fei Long’s primary motivation in the series stems from his loyalty and deep respect for his master, Dorai, whom he regards as a father figure, even more so than his biological parent. When Dorai is critically injured and left in a coma following an attack, the young star is initially led to believe that his master has died. This news sends Fei Long into a spiral of grief and a fierce desire for vengeance. His role in the story becomes intertwined with the journeys of the protagonists, Ryu and Ken Masters. After the two martial artists, guided by Chun-Li, inadvertently disrupt his film shoot, a spontaneous and destructive fight breaks out between Fei Long and Ken, who volunteers to be a stunt double. The ensuing brawl impresses the director but showcases the volatile power of all involved. Following this initial clash, the trio forms a friendly acquaintance, aligning their goals to uncover the truth behind the attacks orchestrated by the criminal syndicate Shadowlaw.

Throughout the series, his most significant relationship is with his master, Dorai, whose attempted assassination serves as the catalyst for Fei Long’s actions. His friendship with Ken and Ryu develops from a competitive rivalry into a mutual respect and a cooperative alliance against a common enemy. A key moment in his development occurs during a confrontation at the hospital where Dorai is being treated. There, he encounters Cammy, a Shadowlaw operative sent to finish the assassination. After a fierce battle, Fei Long fights alongside her, helping her realize she has been deceived. This event marks a turning point, shifting his focus from personal revenge to directly confronting the syndicate's enforcer, Balrog. In terms of abilities, Fei Long is a highly skilled practitioner of Hitenryu kung fu. His fighting style is aggressive, fast, and acrobatic, characterized by powerful, rapid-fire punches and devastating kicks. In the anime, he notably employs a technique known as the En Geki Shu, demonstrating the formidable skills that have made him both a successful movie star and a dangerous fighter in reality.
