Description
Miho Izuki is a nine-year-old elementary schoolgirl who serves as the protagonist of the anime. She is a shy, imaginative child with a strong passion for drawing and singing, and she dreams of becoming a manga artist or a singer. Her life changes when she meets a smiling, mysterious man who gives her two stuffed dinosaur toys, Pigu and Mogu. The toys come to life as magical fairies from a realm called the World of Memories of All Times, and they present her with a magic sketchbook and pen. With these tools, Miho can bring anything she draws to life and, most importantly, transform into a teenage version of herself, whom she names Fancy Lala. As the fifteen-year-old Lala, she is scouted by Yumi Haneishi, the president of Lyrical Productions, and begins a career as a model and singer, eventually releasing a CD and performing concerts.
