Description
Kikako is a character who serves as a minor antagonist in the narrative. She is a magician, a being whose body has been altered to grant her supernatural powers, and is assigned by the organization that created her to hunt down other magicians who have escaped from its control. Her identification number is 5010, and she holds a rank of AA+, which indicates a very high level of destructive capability.

Kikako is dispatched as part of a mission to retrieve the escaped magicians and their control devices. Her third target is a witch named Shino, whom she successfully eliminates before confronting the main group of protagonists, which includes Neko Kuroha, Ryouta Murakami, and Kotori Takatori. In battle, her primary ability is a powerful energy beam fired from her mouth, often referred to as a cannon. This attack has immense range and destructive power, which is the primary reason for her high ranking. However, this magic has notable limitations: it can only be fired in a straight line directly in front of her, and there is a brief but exploitable charge time before the beam is released. Realizing these weaknesses, Ryouta Murakami devises a strategy to have Neko evade the linear attacks by sidestepping them.

When her magic proves ineffective against a mobile target, Kikako reveals a secondary, non-magical weapon: a miniature grappling hook concealed within her right sleeve. She uses this barb on a cord to ensnare her opponent, pinning Neko to the ground to line up a direct, unavoidable shot. This tactic forces the protagonists to adapt again. Kotori Takatori uses her teleportation magic to swap Kikako's position with her own, which results in Kikako being restrained and captured. Following her defeat, she is returned to the laboratory. Although she succeeded in killing her assigned target, Shino, she is subjected to a brutal interrogation, during which she is questioned about her encounter with the escaped magician Kotori.

Physically, Kikako has a distinctive and somewhat unsettling appearance. She has slitted pupils, and the skin around her eyes is described as scaly, giving her a reptilian or inhuman look. Her personality is remarkably taciturn; she speaks very little and is portrayed as a focused, almost silent agent. She functions less as a complex individual and more as a weapon dispatched by the organization to eliminate its targets. Her motivations are not explored in depth, but as a magician, her actions are driven by the need to follow orders and likely avoid punishment from the organization that controls her supply of life-sustaining medication. Her role in the story is that of an obstacle for the main characters, serving to demonstrate the constant danger they face from the organization's hunters and the need for clever strategy over brute force when confronting superior power. She has no significant relationships with other characters beyond her status as an adversary to the protagonists and a tool for the organization's operatives. Her character does not undergo any development or change within the story, remaining a static, menacing presence whose primary function is to showcase a specific threat and the resourcefulness required to overcome it.
