Description
Bogosse Masqué, whose full title is Bogosse trop Craquant Masqué, is the number one ranked hero in Class A of the Hero Association and the most popular hero overall. He simultaneously works as a top idol, actor, model, and singer, using his widespread fame to cultivate an image of elegance and charm in the public eye. At the start of his hero career, he wore a mask and was known as Mysterious Masqué, but after revealing his handsome face, he was renamed and achieved massive success, starring in films such as Beau Château and Belle Histoire d'Amour.

Behind his serene and stylish public persona lies an extremely egocentric and arrogant personality. Privately, he holds most S-Class heroes in contempt, including Atomic Samurai, Superalloy Blackluster, and Puri-Puri Prisoner, believing himself to be stronger than them and that he should command them during major operations. The only S-Class hero he genuinely respects is King, whose courage and perceived strength he deems worthy of his rank. Bogosse Masqué feels unworthy of commanding King, which leads him to step back from trying to lead the S-Class during the assault on the Monster Association. He also maintains a strategic reason for remaining in Class A, deliberately avoiding promotion to S-Class to block heroes he considers unworthy from advancing to the highest rank.

His sense of justice is rigid and extremely ruthless. He shows no mercy to his enemies, executing defeated monsters without hesitation, even when they are defenseless or surrendering. This cruelty extends to humans he deems enemies of justice, as he was prepared to kill mind-controlled mercenaries rather than neutralize them non-lethally. Genos observes that he is a psychopath with an obsessive disgust toward weakness, and he looks down on lower-class heroes as insignificant. A notable psychological vulnerability is his cacophobia, an intense fear of ugliness. When confronted by the grotesque monster Fuhrer Ugly, his phobia becomes so overwhelming that he suffers severe nosebleeds and is rendered unable to attack, forcing him to call for help from his fellow heroes. This humiliation triggers paranoia about his reputation being destroyed.

Bogosse Masqué hides a profound secret from the world he is not human but a monster who disguises himself with a handsome human appearance. When Princess Super S discovered this truth, he instantly crushed her head in a fit of rage to silence her permanently. This monstrous identity drives many of his actions, particularly his willingness to eliminate witnesses who might threaten his celebrity status. Despite this dark nature, he holds a deep admiration for Blast, the number one S-Class hero, who once came to his aid. Recalling Blast's intervention helps him restrain his most violent impulses, such as when he fought the urge to kill the other members of the assault team to protect his secret. This internal conflict between his monstrous instincts and his admiration for true heroism reveals a more complex dimension beneath his polished and murderous exterior.
