Description
Lightspeed Flash, also known as Flashy Flash, is an S-Class hero ranked 13th in the Hero Association from the series One Punch Man. He is a former assassin from the Ninja Village, a brutal training ground where he was sold by his parents at the age of five. He made multiple failed attempts to escape and was severely punished each time, leaving many scars on his body. At the age of 16, he chose to eliminate everyone in the village, putting an end to its corruption and freeing himself from its grasp.

In terms of appearance, Lightspeed Flash has shoulder-length silver or white hair, blue eyes, and feminine facial features. He wears a white cape with a star-shaped black pin and two matching hairpins, and he is often seen with a sword. His attire, including distinctive footwear, is part of his signature look and contributes to his enigmatic presence.

His personality is characterized by a serious and composed demeanor, with a strong sense of pride in his speed and combat prowess. He harbors a deep yearning for freedom, a desire that drove him to destroy the Ninja Village. Despite his cool exterior, he can display impatience and a sharp tongue, especially toward those he considers inferior or annoying. His motivations are rooted in justice, though his methods can be ruthless. He has a strong passion for his ideals and takes his role as a hero seriously.

Within the story, Lightspeed Flash serves as a formidable S-Class hero who confronts powerful monsters and other threats. He is recognized as one of the fastest and most lethal fighters in the Hero Association. His speed is so extreme that even skilled fighters like A-Class hero Shadow Ring cannot track his movements with their eyes. He participates in critical arcs, facing opponents such as Platinum Sperm, Gale Wind, and Hellfire Flame, and demonstrates his combat abilities in high-stakes battles.

Key relationships include his connection to the ninja Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, who escaped the same Ninja Village. Sonic once realized that Lightspeed Flash shared a similar longing for freedom and a passion for justice. Lightspeed Flash also interacts with the protagonist Saitama, whom he at one point attempts to take as a disciple, claiming himself as Saitama's master. He has a rivalry of sorts with Sonic and holds a competitive stance toward other speedsters.

His development is shaped by his violent past and his rise as a hero. He begins as a cold and efficient assassin but gradually shows growth in his interactions with other heroes and his understanding of justice. While his core personality remains proud and direct, he becomes more integrated into the hero society.

Notable abilities center on his extraordinary speed, which allows him to perform techniques such as Flash Fist, a barrage of high-speed punches delivered in an instant, and Flashy Slash, a swordsmanship technique that can cleanly cut opponents in two. He also executes acrobatic kicks and ultra-high-speed combat movements that combine assassin techniques with precise swordsmanship. His speed is considered among the highest in the setting, enabling him to fight on par with extremely powerful opponents and evade attacks that others cannot perceive.
