Description
Pac-Man, whose real name is Pac and who is sometimes called Pacster, is the main protagonist of the animated series. He is a young teenager, roughly thirteen years old, and the last surviving member of the Yellow Pac-Worlders, a nearly extinct group in the population of Pac-World. His parents, Zac and Sunny, disappeared during the Ghost Wars, a conflict fought against the ghost forces of the Netherworld under Commander Betrayus. Orphaned by those events, Pac was raised by his Aunt Spheria and later lived in the dormitories of Maze High School in the city of Pacopolis with his closest friends.

In personality, Pac is brave, kind, cheerful, loyal, and compassionate. He is energetic and optimistic, and he approaches even dangerous situations with enthusiasm. However, he can also be impulsive, rebellious, and immature, especially when his judgment is clouded by his famously enormous appetite. He will eat almost anything, and his craving for food frequently gets him into trouble or complicates his friends' plans. Despite these flaws, his good heart and willingness to help others usually win out.

Pac's central motivations are protecting Pac-World from ghost attacks, finding his long-lost parents, and living up to his role as a hero. His adventures begin when he accidentally breaks the seal that kept the Netherworld closed while fleeing from the school bully Skeebo, unintentionally releasing ghosts into his world. From that point, he becomes the primary defender of Pac-World against Betrayus, the ruler of the ghosts who seeks to conquer the world. Pac is also committed to helping his four ghost companions, Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde, who publicly serve Betrayus but secretly side with Pac in exchange for his promise to restore their physical bodies so they can live again.

Pac's closest relationships are with his best friends Cylindria, called Cyli, and Spiralton, called Spiral, who attend Maze High School with him and support him in his battles. His Aunt Spheria serves as his guardian, and his missing parents remain an emotional focus of his journey. Among the ghosts, Pinky has a crush on him, while the others treat him as a trusted ally, and his chief adversary is Betrayus, whose schemes Pac repeatedly thwarts.

As a yellow Pac-Worlder, Pac has the natural ability to eat ghosts and spit out their eyes, which neutralizes them. His abilities expand when he eats Power Berries from the Tree of Life, which transform him into a powerful battle form. Depending on the berry, he can gain abilities such as flight, enormous size, super strength, and energy blasts, and these forms allow him to breathe and move freely in the Netherworld, something he cannot do without them. Over the course of the series, Pac grows from a carefree, food-obsessed student into a more dependable and self-aware hero, learning that his impulsive nature must be balanced with responsibility as he carries the hopes of Pac-World on his shoulders.
