Description
Lorde Tráidor, known in English as Lord Betrayus, is the main antagonist of the animated series Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. His full name is Betrayus Sneakerus Spheros. He is the supreme ruler of the Netherworld and commands all ghosts and monsters that dwell there. He is the younger brother of President Esfera, the leader of Pac-World, which establishes a family conflict at the core of his story.

Tráidor was originally a Pac-Worlder, not a ghost. He was a general who attempted a coup to seize power, launching an attack that caused widespread destruction. In response, he and his followers were stripped of their corporeal bodies and banished to the Netherworld for eternity. This punishment left him as a ghostly being with a black and white appearance, red eyes, and red markings across his body. His primary motivation is to regain a physical form and conquer Pac-World, an ambition he pursues relentlessly throughout the series.

His personality is marked by extreme egotism, sadism, and a volatile temper. He is melodramatic and prone to childish fits when his schemes fail, often blaming his underlings for his own mistakes. Despite his position of power, he is portrayed as immature, impulsive, and frequently ridiculous, making him a comic foil as much as a threat. He rules the Netherworld through intimidation and threats, showing little genuine respect for his minions, including his mad scientist Dr. Buttocks and the Ghost Gang composed of Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and Clyde, though the latter four secretly ally with Pac-Man.

Tráidor's role in the story is that of the primary villain. He constantly devises plans to steal Power Berries from the Tree of Life, locate the Repository of ghost bodies, or directly attack Pacopolis. He monitors Pac-World through slug-shaped cameras and launches invasions using his ghostly army. He is directly responsible for the disappearance of Pac-Man's parents and the near-extinction of the Yellow Pac-Worlders, though some details of that event are also tied to the hireling known as the Pacnador.

His key relationship is with his brother, President Esfera, whose leadership he resents and seeks to overthrow. He views Pac-Man as his archnemesis and the main obstacle to his goals. Despite his malice, Tráidor rarely achieves lasting success; his plans are routinely foiled by Pac-Man and his friends, often in humiliating ways. Over the course of the series, he exhibits no significant redemption or growth, remaining a consistently tyrannical, immature, and determined antagonist.

As a ghost, Tráidor possesses the ability to travel between the Netherworld and Pac-World, command and empower other ghosts, and survive in a non-corporeal state. He also has a flair for dramatic broadcasts and enjoys taunting his enemies. However, he lacks the physical strength of his living days and relies heavily on his army and inventions. His most notable ability is his sheer persistence, as he never abandons his quest for conquest despite countless defeats.
