Description
Born as the second princess of the Ordesia royal family, Fianna Ray Ordesia comes from a lineage that has long served the elemental lords. She is a central member of Team Scarlet and is known by the epithet the Lost Queen. Fianna has a neat and tidy appearance, characterized by her long, impressive black hair and clear black pupils, with skin described as being as clear as virgin snow.
Fianna's personality is defined by a playful and teasing nature, often using her knowledge of others' secrets to gently provoke them. However, this demeanor belies a more susceptible and naive interior, as she is easily flustered when she becomes the target of similar teasing. Her actions are frequently driven by a deep affection for the main protagonist, towards whom she is notably forward and active in her romantic advances. Despite this boldness, she often experiences embarrassment following her own amorous pursuits.
Fianna's background is marked by a significant fall from grace. She was once an excellent elementalist and a candidate queen at the Divine Ritual Institute. However, four years before the main story, when a senior named Rubia Elstein betrayed the Fire Elemental Lord, Fianna attempted to stop her. In the ensuing confrontation, her trusted contracted spirit, Georgios, was destroyed in a single blow, and the overwhelming fear she experienced caused her to lose the ability to summon spirits entirely. This event led to her being stripped of her candidacy for queen and being called the Lost Queen. Prior to this incident, she met the protagonist, Kamito Kazehaya, while he was disguised as the legendary swordswoman Ren Ashbell. He saved her life from a rampaging spirit in the forest of Astral Zero, and she discovered his true identity, a secret she promised to keep.
Her primary motivation when she is introduced is to regain her former status and power by winning the Blade Dance, a grand spirit tournament. To this end, she transfers to Areishia Spirit Academy and seeks to join Kamito's team, initially planning to use his strength for her own victory. However, this calculated approach is complicated by her genuine feelings for him. Over time, her true wish shifts from restoring her royal standing to remaining by Kamito's side, who accepts her for who she is rather than as a spirit princess. Her role in the story evolves from a scheming newcomer to a vital support member of Team Scarlet, where her expertise in ritual kagura and defensive abilities become indispensable.
Key relationships define much of her journey. Her bond with Kamito Kazehaya is central, and she is often jealous of his interactions with other women. She has a competitive and frequently adversarial relationship with Claire Rouge, another member of Team Scarlet, but they function together as comrades. Her family relationships are extremely poor, particularly with her brother Arneus and father August, who treated her with cruelty and cunning when she lost her powers. After she regains her abilities, she refuses to return to her family, having no desire to be used by them again.
Fianna's personal development is tied to overcoming her past trauma. After being forced to confront powerful enemies, she manages to dispel her fear and successfully resummon Georgios for the first time in four years, thereby reclaiming her power as an elementalist. She works hard to expand her abilities, eventually learning to create a high-level territory known as the Territory of the Eternal Queen, which supplies powerful support to her allies. Her fighting style is not direct combat but rather a support role, utilizing ritual dances to construct barriers, reseal spirits, and enhance her teammates.
Fianna's notable abilities are centered on her contract with the holy knight spirit Georgios. In its purified form, Georgios is a silver-armored knight specializing in high defense and attacks against dragons. In its elemental waffe form, it transforms into a rapier called Save the Queen. When stabbed into the ground, Save the Queen creates a special territory that serves as a near-indestructible barrier for a limited time, while also healing and replenishing the divine power of her comrades within its range. This ability directly compensates for Kamito's weakness, which is the heavy consumption of his own power. By fulfilling the role of a rear assistant focused on support and defense, she balances the offensive capabilities of her teammates.
