Description
Saturn holds the rank of commander within Team Galactic's senior leadership. His early missions involve overseeing critical operations across Sinnoh, commanding the theft of artifacts like the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs and directing the capture of Lake Guardians at Lake Valor. He demonstrates a preference for calculated, efficient tactics, readily ordering tactical retreats to avoid complications. In confrontations, he primarily relies on his Toxicroak, which develops a recurring rivalry with Brock's Croagunk during battles against interfering trainers.

Betrayed when Cyrus abandons his commanders at Spear Pillar to enter a new dimension, Saturn shows visible distress. He stops Mars from following Cyrus, leading to their arrest alongside other commanders. This experience later prompts him to admit ignorance of Cyrus's full plan and question Team Galactic's previously employed extremist methods.

Despite Team Galactic's apparent disbandment and arrest, Saturn resurfaces leading a revived faction solely dedicated to locating Cyrus. In this pursuit, he captures the Legendary Pokémon Heatran near Mt. Coronet. Saturn plans to exploit Heatran's power combined with the Flame Plate to forcibly open a dimensional gateway to Cyrus. This plan encounters complications when the energy cannon overloads, triggering Heatran's Flash Fire ability and causing a destructive rampage. Confronting Ash, Dawn, Brock, and Goh during their intervention, Saturn insists on proceeding with the gateway operation even after Heatran's escape. The plan fails, resulting in Saturn and his commanders being subdued by Cynthia and rearrested by Officer Jenny. As Arceus closes the gateway, Saturn desperately pleads with the Mythical Pokémon for information on Cyrus's whereabouts, receiving no response.

His known Pokémon include Bronzor, utilized for navigation and causing confusion, and Toxicroak, his primary battling partner noted for its fierce rivalry. He temporarily commands Heatran during the dimensional gateway operation before its escape. Saturn maintains a consistently cool and determined demeanor, prioritizing mission success and displaying loyalty to Cyrus even after the betrayal, though his actions post-Spear Pillar suggest disillusionment with Team Galactic's original methods.
