Kuraishi Tanpopo is a teenage witch allied with the Tower faction, introduced as the enthusiastic leader of the KMM Gang. Infiltrating Tōgetsu High School under the guise of a transfer student, her primary mission is to capture Honoka Takamiya—the guarded “princess” of the opposing Workshop witches—and secure the latent power he possesses. Visually distinctive with cat ears, short blond hair, and yellow eyes, she carries a playful, mischievous air, often seen goofing off or singing karaoke with her fellow gang members. Despite having few close associates beyond her team, she maintains a strong, easygoing bond with them as the group’s casual head. Her motivation is rooted in the Tower’s ambition to claim Honoka’s abilities, and she acts as the vanguard, being the first to intervene in a pivotal incident involving the entity Evermillion. In battle, Tanpopo relies on illusion magic and shikigami summoning, commanding an army of mechanical rabbits—referred to as Hunters or the Soldier of Rabbits—that overwhelm opponents with coordinated attacks. Throughout the story she remains a tenacious but often outmatched antagonist, her schemes frequently undone by Ayaka Kagari’s superior fire magic, while her role highlights both her tactical determination and the camaraderie within the KMM Gang.
