Description
Delico is a Twilight, an individual with enhanced abilities, and a member of the Monroe Family, one of the major criminal organizations in the city of Ergastulum. Born on December 19th, he is 26 years old and holds the rank of D/0, which classifies him as a low-ranked Twilight whose physical capabilities are not dramatically superior to those of a normal human. He has a lean build, fair skin, and stands at 172cm tall. His most distinctive physical feature is his heterochromia, with his right eye being yellow and his left eye blue; his light blonde hair often falls across his face, partially covering his left eye. He is almost always seen in a sharp, well-tailored black suit.

As a child, Delico lived in an orphanage, which was where he met his best and oldest friend, Yang. This orphanage was attacked, resulting in the abduction of several Twilights, including Delico's younger sister, Erica. Following this traumatic event, Delico and Yang were taken in by Daniel Monroe, the head of the Monroe Family. In the present, Delico serves as the only Twilight directly employed by the Monroe Family, a position he maintains with a great deal of seriousness and loyalty.

In terms of personality, Delico has an earnest and quiet demeanor. He is extremely dutiful and tends to put the concerns and safety of others, particularly his boss Monroe, above his own. He works with an unusual seriousness and often keeps to himself, not expressing his emotions outwardly very often. Despite his calm and collected manner, he has a timid side, as noted by his friend Yang, and will sometimes back down if he faces a dangerous situation alone. The deeply ingrained social prejudice against Twilights also bothers him on a personal level.

Delico's primary role in the story is as a loyal soldier of the Monroe Family. He is frequently tasked with protecting Daniel Monroe and carrying out the family's operations. His personal motivations, however, are deeply rooted in his past. The discovery that his sister Erica is still alive and active in Ergastulum drives him to take personal action. He resolves to find her, initially planning to go alone, but is accompanied by Yang. His goal becomes conflicted; while he seeks Erica, the circumstances force him to consider stopping her by any means necessary.

His key relationships are central to his character. Daniel Monroe is his boss, and Delico shows him immense respect and loyalty, a bond formed from being taken in as an orphan. Yang is his oldest friend and confidant, and their partnership is a constant source of support. Erica, his younger sister, is the most significant figure from his past, and her fate is his greatest unresolved trauma. He also maintains a professional connection with the Handymen, including Nicolas Brown and Worick Arcangelo, and forms a tentative friendship with a young girl named Heather.

Delico undergoes significant and tragic development. His unwavering loyalty to Daniel Monroe is shattered when he learns that Monroe was responsible for the attack on the orphanage and Erica's kidnapping. In a moment of extreme emotional conflict and reflexive duty, Delico shoots Yang to protect Monroe from Yang's enraged retaliation. He is left horrified, staring at his own bloodied hands, completely devastated by his actions and the betrayal of the man he served. This moment forces him to confront the corrupt foundation of his life as a mafioso.

While a D/0 ranked Twilight is considered weak, Delico has demonstrated skills exceeding his rank. He is noted by Daniel Monroe for his skills and power, proving his overall efficiency. He has shown himself capable of protecting Monroe from a direct attack by a much more powerful Twilight, managing to land a hit on the attacker even while sustaining an injury himself. He is also proficient with firearms, as shown during the confrontation with Yang and Monroe.
