Description
Hiroshi Fukuda is a first-year student at Seirin High School and a member of the school's basketball team. He plays as a center and wears jersey number 13. Born on April 26, his height is 180 centimeters and he weighs 70 kilograms. He has short black hair and is the second tallest among the first-year students after Taiga Kagami. The team's coach, Kagetora Aida, has given him the nickname Fuku-suke. In private settings when he goes out, he is known to wear a hat.

Hiroshi is characterized by a kind and helpful personality. He has a sincere nature and tends to take what others say literally, which can make him seem somewhat naive. His stated motto is to do everything conscientiously, reflecting his earnest approach to life and basketball. He enjoys helping others and has a friendly, approachable demeanor that makes him a valued part of the team dynamic. Despite his limited playing time, his team spirit and sincerity are notable traits. He does not handle horror themes well and prefers to avoid frightening content.

Hiroshi's motivation stems from a desire to support his teammates and contribute to the team's success in any way possible. He is not a regular starter and typically sits on the bench cheering for Seirin alongside other non-regular players. His most significant moment occurs during the Winter Cup finals against Rakuzan High. After fellow first-year Kouki Furihata loses stamina from guarding the opposing team's captain, Seijuro Akashi, Hiroshi volunteers to take his place. He approaches the seniors and offers himself as a substitute, demonstrating a willingness to sacrifice his own comfort for the good of the team and to allow the more experienced players to conserve their energy for the rest of the match.

Within the story, Hiroshi serves as a member of the supporting cast and part of the larger Seirin High basketball team. His role primarily involves providing support from the bench and making a brief but memorable appearance during a crucial championship match. He is among the first-year students who attend a street basketball tournament before the Winter Cup, where they were scheduled to play against Yosen High in the finals before the event was stopped due to rain.

Hiroshi's key relationships include his fellow first-year teammates, particularly Kouki Furihata, whom he replaces during the Rakuzan match. He also has a close relationship with the other benchwarmers and first-years, including Kawahara, as he mentions the two of them trying together when volunteering to play. He looks up to the senior members of the team and refers to them as senpai. Outside of basketball, his family consists of his mother and two older brothers.

In terms of character development, Hiroshi transitions from a benchwarmer who cheers from the sidelines to a player who actively volunteers to enter a high-pressure championship game. His official match debut comes during the Winter Cup finals against Rakuzan, where he is sent in to guard Akashi in the second quarter. This moment represents his growth in confidence and commitment to the team.

Regarding notable abilities, Hiroshi excels at post shots, which are shots taken from a position close to the basket. As a center, his height and physical attributes make him suited for this role. Beyond basketball, his best subject is physics, he serves on the physical education committee, and his special skill is playing kendama. He enjoys playing role-playing games in his free time and lists yakitori as his favorite food. His type of girl is someone who is interesting or makes him laugh, and he spends his free time hanging out with friends. He has expressed interest in the player Liu Wei.
