Description
Nashiro Yasuhisa is a supporting character in the anime Tokyo Ghoul Root A, known also by the alias Shiro. She is an artificial one-eyed ghoul, having been transformed from a human through experimental surgery performed by Dr. Akihiro Kanou. This procedure involved the transplantation of a kakuhou and organs taken from the ghoul Rize Kamishiro, granting her a ghoul's powers and physiology. Nashiro is the twin sister of Kurona Yasuhisa, known as Kuro, and the pair are nearly identical in appearance. Their background is marked by tragedy: they witnessed the murder of their parents by ghouls during their childhood, an event that left a deep psychological scar.
