Description
Touka Satomi, an 11-year-old magical girl from Hokuyo Ward, possessed russet hair and eyes and stood 148 cm tall. A fifth-grade student at St. Lilliana Academy, she was the daughter of the Satomi Medical Center director and hospitalized there due to illness. During her stay, she befriended Ui Tamaki and Nemu Hiiragi, though she frequently clashed with Nemu, requiring Ui's intervention. Her uncle, folklorist Tasuke Satomi, influenced her through his unpublished manuscript on magical girls, discovered in the hospital.

A prodigy in astrophysics and technology, Touka exhibited exceptional intelligence, performing complex calculations and inventing devices from a young age. Her personality blended arrogance and impatience, leading her to belittle others' intellect and lash out when plans deviated. Despite self-centered tendencies, she occasionally showed care for close associates, nursing Mifuyu Azusa during illness and using a comforting song from her own hospitalization to aid recovery.

Her wish to Kyubey granted the "power to convert," explicitly intended to steal energy from the incubator. This manifested as magic rooted in energy conservation, allowing her to absorb and manipulate environmental energy to prevent Soul Gem corruption. Her weapon was a parasol, used for combat, flight, and oxygen generation. She later pioneered the Doppel system, enabling magical girls to vent corruption without becoming witches.

As co-founder and leader of the Wings of Magius with Nemu and Alina Gray, Touka sought global witch elimination. She engineered rumors (Uwasa) to recruit magical girls and developed radio transmissions tuned to frequencies only magical girls could detect. Her tactics grew increasingly ruthless, advocating traumatic rumors to accelerate goals, causing friction with Mifuyu and culminating in Touka slapping her during a dispute over ethical boundaries.

Her Doppel, Pennen Nolde, took the form of a match seller. It divided her lifespan into matches; lighting one granted a "what-if" wish, but exhausting all would cause her death. The Doppel could alter reality, summon cosmic energy attacks, and create starry sky daydreams, though overuse risked her survival. Its design referenced Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Match Girl," symbolizing fleeting hopes and life.

After Iroha Tamaki proved Ui's existence, Touka regained lost memories of their friendship, leading to profound remorse. She voluntarily sought death as penance during a trial by the Eternal Sakura but was spared. Post-Magius, she joined the Kamihama Magia Union, reconciling with former adversaries and participating in efforts to stabilize the city. Later, she collaborated with Iroha, Ui, Nemu, and Lil' Kyubey to recruit magical girls against threats like the kimochi and Promised Blood.

Her magical girl outfit featured Gothic Lolita elements in black and red, including prison-bar motifs symbolizing confinement. In civilian attire, she wore peach-colored dresses with butterfly pins. Her Soul Gem was a red bow-shaped jewel worn at her throat.

Touka appeared in the mobile game *Magia Exedra* as a playable character with the "Neo Genesis" Kioku, retaining flame-based attacks and break-gauge depletion abilities. Her gameplay emphasized enhancing speed and follow-up attacks tied to buff management.
