TV-Series
Description
Jutis is a supporting character who appears among the bandits of Mattis Fortress. Physically, he is presented as an adult male with shoulder-length blonde or yellow hair, and his eyes are not visible, as his most distinctive feature is a helmet that he wears, which covers his eyes. He is also sometimes depicted with stubble.

Jutis is unique among the bandits in that he never speaks a single word. Despite his silence, he is a present and expressive member of the group, particularly known for his role at night in the great hall of the fortress. When the bandits gather in the evenings, Jutis frequently leads a dance snake, a conga-line style of folk dance. In terms of personality, he is loyal and emotionally in tune with his chief. Like the other men, he does not dare to openly criticize Mattis, and instead shares in his joys and celebrations.

His motivations are closely tied to the well-being of the band and the chief's family. This is most clearly shown during the infancy of Ronja, Mattis's daughter. Jutis was among the bandits who would return home early from their tasks just to play with the baby when she began to crawl. On one such occasion, he even brought her a gift from the robber's woods. His assigned duties within the bandit group include livestock farming and keeping watch.

Within the story, Jutis fulfills the role of a loyal and devoted member of Mattis's band. He is present in many scenes of camaraderie in the fortress, contributing to the sense of community and tradition among the robbers. His key relationships are with his fellow bandits and his chief, Mattis, as well as a warm, paternal affection for the young Ronja. Jutis does not undergo a significant personal transformation; his character remains a constant, silent, and supportive presence throughout the series. He possesses no supernatural abilities, but his notable skill is his leadership in traditional dances and the festive atmosphere he helps create within the robber clan.
