Description
Jillian is a Holy Knight and a member of the Holy Knight order known as Dawn Roar. Her background prior to joining this group is not detailed, but she became a member of the newly formed Dawn Roar following the disbanding of the Seven Deadly Sins ten years before the main events of the story. As a Holy Knight, she holds the rank of Ruby, indicating a respectable level of competence within the knightly hierarchy.

Jillian is depicted as a tall, slim young woman with middle-length hair and reddish-brown eyes. Her standard attire consists of the typical female Holy Knight uniform, which includes a chest-plate for armor. Her personality is marked by a strong commitment to her missions. Like her comrades in Dawn Roar, she is portrayed as willing to go to great lengths, even killing, to accomplish her objectives. She is also noted for her ability to remain calm in various situations. Despite the political turmoil and the coup d'état involving many Holy Knights, Jillian retains her loyalty to the king, Bartra Liones, and follows his commands without question. During an encounter with King, a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, she openly expresses her dislike for his human form, showing a prejudiced side to her character.

Jillian's role in the story is primarily as a supporting antagonist and a representative of the Holy Knights loyal to the kingdom. Her motivations are tied to her duty and loyalty as a Holy Knight, driving her to confront the Seven Deadly Sins and protect the realm as she sees fit. In the Armor Giant arc, she and Dawn Roar are dispatched under orders from Helbram to investigate an Armor Giant in the forest of Ordan, which is later revealed to be the Sin of Lust, Gowther. During the ensuing battle, she demonstrates her combat abilities by using a trapping technique to successfully immobilize the fairy king, King, showcasing her tactical value in a fight.

Her key relationships are primarily with her fellow Dawn Roar members. She holds a high degree of respect for Slader, who serves as the leader of their order. She also trusts her other teammates, Simon and Hugo, in battle, coordinating attacks with them. She is shown to be impressed by Weinheidt's exceptional skill with a bow.

Jillian experiences significant development in terms of her narrative fate, which differs between the manga and its anime adaptation. In the manga, during the Kingdom Infiltration arc, she and the majority of Dawn Roar are present in the king's bedchamber. After the former Great Holy Knight Dreyfus confesses to his crimes and is arrested, Jillian uses her wire-like trap to restrain him. However, she is subsequently killed by Dreyfus, who was actually being possessed by the demon Fraudrin. Her body is later placed in the morgue alongside her fallen comrades.

Conversely, in the first anime adaptation, Jillian survives this encounter, as she and Dawn Roar are depicted on a different mission during the same events, helping to fight New Generation mutants in the city. She is also shown attending the National Foundation Festival at the king's side. The discrepancy is eventually resolved in the second season of the anime, which brings her storyline back in line with the manga, confirming her death. Later in the manga, her spirit appears as a ghost haunting Fraudrin after he is cursed, offering a final supernatural cameo.

Jillian's most notable ability is her unique trapping technique. She can generate a wire-like snare that she casts around her opponents to immobilize them. This ability proves effective enough to temporarily restrain the immense fist of an armored giant and, more impressively, to ensnare the powerful fairy king, King, preventing him from moving. In addition to this special power, she is a capable swordswoman, as is standard for a Holy Knight of her rank.
