Limalisha, often called Lim, is a knight and the personal bodyguard and close friend of Eleonora Viltaria, the Silver Wind Vanadis. She serves as Eleonora's adjutant in the duchy of Leitmeritz, handling both military and administrative duties. At the beginning of the story she is nineteen years old. She has long blonde hair tied in a side ponytail, blue eyes, and is notably tall with a slender build. Her appearance on the battlefield is concealed by a full-face helmet, as female soldiers are rare in the setting.

Limalisha is strict, serious, and deeply conscientious. She holds herself and others to high standards of duty and propriety. She is often seen chasing Eleonora to complete paperwork or attend to official business, and she does not hesitate to voice her disapproval when her liege shirks responsibilities. This outwardly stern demeanor hides a softer side: she has a great fondness for teddy bears and stuffed animals, which she collects in her room and treats with affectionate care. This hobby is known only to Eleonora and later to Tigrevurmud Vorn, and it occasionally becomes a point of humor or bribery.

Her motivations are rooted in unwavering loyalty to Eleonora. She has known Eleonora since childhood, before the latter became a Vanadis, and they once addressed each other informally. After Eleonora assumed her position, Limalisha deliberately switched to formal address to maintain proper distance and respect for the office, though Eleonora sometimes asks her to revert to their old familiarity. Limalisha is also protective of Eleonora's reputation. When Tigrevurmud Vorn is taken prisoner by Eleonora, Limalisha initially regards him with suspicion and hostility, believing that keeping him alive could harm Eleonora's standing. She even suggests killing him. However, as she observes Tigre's integrity, skill with a bow, and dedication to his own people, her opinion begins to change.

Her role in the story is that of a capable commander and administrator. She leads troops in battle, often commanding separate detachments, and demonstrates strong tactical acumen. She also becomes one of Tigre's instructors, teaching him military strategy, logistics, and politics in a rigorous, almost spartan manner. As she spends more time with Tigre, she comes to respect him and eventually recognizes her own growing romantic feelings for him, though she does not readily act on them.

Key relationships include her bond with Eleonora, which is built on mutual trust and long history despite her formal demeanor. With Tigre, she evolves from a hostile guard to a trusted teacher and ally, and later to a love interest. She also shows consideration toward Titta, Tigre's maid, as one of the few women traveling with the army, and she is known to be a good cook.

Her initial rigidity gives way to warmth, especially in moments when her bear-collecting habit is revealed or when she allows herself to smile at Tigre's growth.
